One of my pals here in Ontario stuck his neck out and sent $1500 to a guy in Winnipeg a year ago, still hasn't recv'd his items or money back and gets the runaround everytime he reaches the guy..
It's not an eBay deal and I don't believe the guy an outright crook but more just someone who keeps putting things off and just needs to get his $hit together..
Is anyone here willing to drop by this guy's house on Royal Mint Dr. for a friendly visit?. Not necessarily looking for someone to pull a heavy on him...more to let him understand it's not just a faceless internet/phone deal and seeing there's actual people involved may be enough to prompt him to get it done..
Happy to compensate someone who can help...if anyone can, PM me and I'll fill you in w/ more details..

Hi
I live in Winnipeg and have had this problem before-twice from people in the states. If you have all the payment information re; money order slip cashed cheque etc..-the easiest way to get it taken care of is to call the manitoba sherriff or winnipeg police and they will direct you in the right direction. The people that did this to me didn't like the visit from the county sherriff who threw them in jail until the money was paid back, the second guy shipped immediately. It worked for me-give it a try.If they don't help out-which they should.I'll try to help out in anyway I can.Can always have a police friend pay a friendly visit-but the legal way is always the best route I have found.
I know of a local guy here in Ontario that had that happen to him on eBay from a loser in Texas. He contacted the local Texas sheriff, dude got thrown in jail, and had to send my buddy a check every month until it was paid for. Definitly try the legal system first.
