You know what's cool about this site? Having members who are so passionate about these cars. Clipping Beaumont ads from the Auto Trader and saving them to share years later is truly a sign of passion for a brand. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, I guess you have to be a bit of a packrat to keep all of that old stuff. That's why I still have about 90% of the Canadian Old Car Traders that have been published since it came out in 1982. And many of the US Old Car Traders too until they stopped bringing them into Canada about two years ago.

I think my Dad's car might be in that. I wished we could have at least save the serial number.

Cool that you saved all of them!

Excellent Question Astro,

In the Spring of 2004 I was in Sask. visiting my parents and came across my old SUPER CHEVY magazine dated June 1987. There was an article in it entitled 'Minnesota Thunder' featuring 2, 1966 L72 4 speed Biscayne post cars. To make a long story short, after a few phone calls and perseverance, one of the Biscaynes became mine.
The moral of the story, why not make a few phone calls and see where the cars have gone.....you just never know?

Some of the prices do seem really nostalgically low, but some also seem about on par of what one would be worth right now.
Am I off base on that?

I have bought cars and parts that way. It really is true, you never know.
