Remember when...


..railway car carriers were open?
I can still remember watching all the latest cars from Ford of Oakville and GM's from Oshawa pass through on the main east west CN/CP line at freeman junction in Burlington. Damm vandals put a stop to the open side probably around 80'.

I remember them passing through the neighborhood down in Surrey on occasion,they were covered up then though,1974-75ish.didnt stop anyone from having fun testing their aim through the spaces,not me though,I wouldnt do that.
