I was out at a business diner but I called home to see how the Leafs did, I couldn't believe it....the Rangers have been riding high too. I've watched more games this year than all of last year. Good coaching and a solid work ethic make it fun to watch.
I did get home in time to catch the last few minutes of the Flames, what a wild ending, looks like Kipper stood on his head, then I hear Mark Crawford say one of the best nights on HNIC, darn it! I like the Flames too, six in a row. I coached 12 years in the GTHL for the Leaside Flames so that's how I come by the affection.

That third period was unbelieveable! Another huge come from behind victory. Wilson has these guys hustling, skating, checking and shooting! Leafs have out shot their opponents nearly every game. I thought this season would be a write-off and a competition for the first draft pick but now I don't know... Mitchell, Moore, Schenn, the Leafs of the future are here now!

As a seasoned coach I know why the A's on the #15, #77 and #21 jersey but this guy Moore shows the way every night. Mitchell is just a darn good kid who never gives up and I was glad to see he got a pair as he deserve that. Luc Scheen has more poise and guts than the whole defense corp from last year! Lets not foregt to mention Van Ryn on the blue line, I am impressed with him too.
