hold onto your seat ! I had someone e-mail me a car they asked $125000 for last year (turned down $100,000) asking $85,000 this past spring, dealers telling me they are not interested at any price and a friend saying he'll wait until it gets to $50,000

 Another friend is in the middle of a deal for a car in the low to mid fourties that was 65 last year

lotsa last year $35,000 cars adverised at $28,000 with no takers,

lotsa last years $25,000 cars advertised under $20,000 no takers

and tons of $15,000 and under on the market-no takers

the fade part is near the end of its cycle, the toys go first in a poor finance situation., the toys are the last to buy in a time of limited cash flow all this leads to too much supply for the amount of demand-simple economics

don't get me wrong "good cars" will always sell, there will always be interest in this hobby but how much and how many is the question.
