I agree with you.  Now i'm not sure how the rest of it looks, but my father in law got basically the same car ( a 66) that needed frame work done, but it was a custom convertible with the 6cyl for around the same price.

I bet she is a real rusty Ontario car. Otherwise why take a pic of only the back end.

Hey guys, I went to look at the  67 convert. this afternoon. I would have bought it, but the guy who is supposed to buy my Porsche hasn't come thru yet. So it's still there. It won't be there for long. It does need total restoring. Has been inside since about 1980. It's an odd ball. Factory buckets, column shift P/G, bumperettes, power top, steering & brakes. Original inline6. Needs floor, trunk, fenders, quarters, etc. He has the GMVV docs'. Yes it's a rusty Ontario car. Black interior is out of the car, but all there. It's easily worth the money if you want a resto winter project. the owner is a nice guy, and knows his Chevelles & Beaumonts very well. BUT It Is a PROJECT. I would own it already, but need to move one of mine 1st, so better get to it quick guys!!! If my Porsche deal goes thru it will be mine by the weekend.

It's too much for me to handle, would be interesting to have a 67 conv to match my father in law's 66. Of course i don't have the money for it either. Neither does he now that the 66 is restored, so i won't tempt him by telling him about this one...the mother in law would kill me...and him if he even flinchedlaughing.gif

What about the frame?  it must have major rust or require replacement.
Thats about the only thing i would be looking at if i was in his garage.  Everything else can be fixed.  But frame swap is pretty major.
It must be rotten?

This car was in the London area last year-a fire fighter owned it asking $3000-told me he'd take $1500 on the phone for it-sounded pretty rough the next owner had it on E-Bay-it bid past $3000 no sale
