So I have a luncheon to attend today for a Board I sit on, it is just an awesome meal. It is at the Donalda Golf and Country Club which is at York Mills and Don Mills in Toronto, probably one of only a few clubs right in the City. The clubhouse is the old Estate home bulit in the 1800's and it is very nice, Huge stone fireplace open hearth on both sides, old beam mantel, is the centre piece of the dinning room. Amazing Chritmas trees and cedar rope all over with holly and red ribbons. The Christmas buffet is to die for. Very rural setting overlooking the snow covered course right in the centre of the Big Smoke.

The question is, will  you come back from lunch?wink

I've got a couple of "Mad Men" type Christmas lunches next week, I don't think I'll be too productive when I return to the office.biggrin

Well agianst my better judgement I'm here in my office so I did come back. I can hardly move and I won't need to eat tonight. I could describe the buffet but everyone would just get p'd off at me. I stuck to the Beaujolais Superieur, Bouchard Aine et Fils, which goes well with meat or turkey. I knew I'd have both!

My life is pretty much dedicated to feeding hungry children C2 so I am not opposed to feeding Big Ray from time to time.

Carl, I know the McCain boys who own Maple Leaf Foods, They are decent guys who did all the right things in my books. I saw one of the brothers at the arena the other night and he says it is real tough on them now. These are good family guys from down east too. Just want to say that we should all cut them some slack, they've done everything humanly possible to get on top of the problem.
