Week-end of fun, fun, fun!!!!!!!

DSCN0119.JPGDSCN0120.JPGFriday leave work at 4:30 for normal 20 min. drive home. Still don't have snow tires on the F-150 so need to be careful.
Watch a dolt in a little Mercedes slide past everyone on a downhill section of road, then he enters the left turn lane with signal flashing. 3 lights later he cuts off everyone to go straight through, gets stuck twice in the intersection, moves 100 yards and stops to pick up a passenger. He then proceeds to drive up the hill in front of him, makes it another 50 yards and comes to a stop with wheels spinning wildly. He then decides to turn around, 15 minutes later he hasn't finished his u-turn but is out of our lane and we all pass him leaving him stuck. No one will help him because he is a dolt. Make it home in 2 1/2 hours.
Saturday morning shovel our snow and the neighbours because the snow shovelling fairies haven't shown up.
Saturday afternoon take my daughter and the 79 Buick to practice "controlled" sliding. Fun, fun, fun.
Sunday morning 6:30 start my sister-in-laws SUV because its -29 and she is flying in from Regina to pick it up and head home to BC. Starts with a boost and I leave it running while I have a coffee and get ready to go to work. At 7:00 I go to shut it off, @#$!! doors are locked. The missus heads off to pick-up the S-i-L @ the airport and I call AMA. At 8:00am I am still on hold and give the phone to daughter #1 to deal with the problem.
Get to work in normal travel time but find the snow shovelling fairies have left snow piled on to the doors. Shovels are inside and I can't get in. Get a new shovel @ Crappy Tire and shovel my way into the shop.
Get home @ 4:00 and receive instructions to print new pictures of my daughters to send to family as Christmas presents. Download pics OK. Try to print and the printer dies @#$!!.
Get new printer, install and print 4 pictures, finished @ 7:00pm.

Fun, fun, fun. Attached are pictures of the "controlled" sliding parking lot.

It should be legal to do that parking lot stuff. It makes for a lot better drivers once they understand how to do that.

I haven't had to teach our kids. They already do it on the go cart in the grass. Self taught!

Sorry to hear about the rest of your weekend. Sounds like the parking lot was the highlight...

The parking lot was FUN, FUN, FUN. giggle.gifgiggle.gifgiggle.gif

The rest frustrated.giffrustrated.gifsteaming.gifsteaming.gif

The parking lot was interesting. The Buick is a 79 Lesabre 2 dr/ 350 4bbl/ 243 gears/ good snow tires. It needed lots of gas and violent inputs to make it misbehave smile.gif. Otherwise it would just grip solidly. That was great knowledge for my daughter smile.gif. She was happy with "grips good" with normal inputs. I was giggle.gifgiggle.gif with spin to right, spin to left then practice figure 8's around the lamp posts.
