Too bad that Stude isn't a V8 truck. Those 170's were a little weak for the trucks (cyl heads would crack from heat if you lugged them). The rest of those trucks are tough -esp if you get the Stude 8.

Also, did you know the box on the later Stude trucks were from early Dodge trucks? Studebaker bought the dies from them.

Make sure that if you make a deal with Eds projects you do it in person with a car trailer ready to go. I made a deal with him and he gave me the run around. Not a man of his word.

I sold Ed a 76 Corvette project a few years ago he was great to deal with-sent the money promptly, he asked if the car could stay six weeks I said I prefer not-he sent someone within a couple days, I spoke with him about his brother's 37 Ford and should have bought it.
