Ian says its a large chev car pattern? will the spare rims off my 2000 jimmy fit or am i better off taking tire with me and mount them on the rims on the car

Steve this car has small bolt pattern wheels I believe,I was just asking if yours were big bolt pattern,I think you need small bolt pattern wheels, off a disc brake car, like plain steel wheels?

bolt pattern for the 70 2+2 is 5 on 4-3/4.  If I recall, the stud size is 7/16", whereas some of the US Pontiac's had 1/2" studs.

Steve your good @ multi-tasking are you the Mythical 8 handed God of automotive restoration so many of us on this site dream of having as our friend or being transformed into.Of course we would keep this from our wives, imagine finishing housework in an 1/4 time and add that extra time for working on our cars.

looks a little crusty on the front, one thing i find in wrecking yards is the hood bottoms are always shot because of dew sitting in there

American cars have 5 on 5" bolt pattern like 71-76 full size Chevs and 5 hole GM pickups. Canadian cars have 5 on 4&3/4" pattern.

US 1970 B-body Pontiac's had the larger 5 on 5 bolt pattern.

Other interesting items between the US and Cdn 70 B-Body cars are little things like the dash pad is slightly different.  I changed the dash in my 70 Green 2+2 with one from the US.  As the emergency brake assembly of the Cdn cars is same as Chev, it's different than the Pontiac ones.   I had to drill an extra hole in the bottom of the dash to allow the bolt to go through.

69's and 70's interior are similar in many ways, but again the dash pad is slightly different.  69's had the glovebox button in a different spot than 70's knob.  I was able to adapt a 69 dash by doing some minor cutting with a dremel tool.  As I have 3 70's, I'm always willing to offer advice.

Clint,

Interesting about the dash glove box latch location, I have a perfect USA 69' pad and had no idea that the glove box latch was different! I checked my CP box door and sure enough the CP is over to the left of the door and the USA is further right! Why in gods name would that be different between the two, the CP is closer for the driver to open?

Is anything else different with the pad besides the latch an PB mount?

Steve, I've been watching ebay for 69 and 70 stuff for years, you'll be glad to know there is a very good supply of nos 70' stuff still out there.

Cheers, Mark.

Just as Mark said, make sure you search 69 and 70 Pontiac on Ebay. I also have found good stuff on there like this:
