My wife got this photo from here parents. They did not know what kind of car it was. It took me awile but I figured it out. The gentilman is my wifes grandfather. Note the 1925 Manitoba plates, a hint, would make this car one year old.
You cheat. Yes your correct. I had a hard time finding this one. Until I found one in the Henry Ford museum. My stupidity I should have changed pic description. Doogh !!
My late Uncle Ernest Rudman had one that he converted into an opentop pickup to convey water on his farm in the Karoo. I never new the make, now I know wood spokes and all.

Cool thread!. I have an Essex wood-wheel center cap here somewhere from the same vintage as the pictured car.. My Mom's first car was an Essex Coupe.. I believe she started driving it at 14 and was raised on top of Blue Mountain so always had some adventures in the car going up/down the old mountain road beside the Collingwood skihills..

Hang on to that Pete, I was thinking of finding something like that for the wife as a momento. Here is same car with her Grandmother;
If you want the Essex cap and I can find it, it's yours Ian!. It's in a box here somewhere and my life is still in a lot of boxes since my house fire so it may be some time before I can lay my hands on it..
Where's the pic w/ the Essex and Grandmother from?.. Looks like a statue in the background...maybe holding the scales of justice?.
