I enjoy my 2.73!! car has so much power, that any more gear, is a waste of fuel.. I dont think I have ever seen a posi for 2.56 or 2.73....Why don't you look at 3.08 with posi they will carry up to 3.73 (I think)

I agree, so why would I look for 3.08 and higher? I want the speedo to remain calibrated as well. I'm sure they are out there, just have to find one...

I do hate to jump in here but I am interested in the 3 series carier how much are you looking to get for it shipped to Alberta T3E7M8 i could arragne to have it picked up by puralator or fed ex we have accts at work
That is of course if it is available if so place me in line
I've got a couple 2 series posi carriers (empty), and bought all the innards for one of them from Tom's Differentials in Ponderay Idaho on our way back from California. (Tom gave me a copy of a differential rebuild article from June '79 Popular Hot Rodding, and I also had the magazine in the garage. The magazine is still sitting on the desk in my den) Not sure if I want to part with them though. 3 series are more popular and henceforth worth more, and when I was buying the innards Tom wondered why I'd want to put a 2 series posi in. I said I like the top end of my 2.73's, but the odd time I do a burn-out I like to see 2 black patches behind me.
