Anahiem, anyone see that game today. I am going to predict an Anahiem Chicago West Final.  Both of those teams are loaded with Canadians.

Well the Canucks came to play tonight, looks like Olund may have gone down at the end though.

They play real good after a good sh** kicking. Pyatt may have got the troops up and Salo maybe back next game.

I really like Pyatt, a good Canadian player, tough as nails goes to all the nasty places. Good for him, he showed real leadership tonight. That had to be a motivational factor.

Teemu and the Ducks are playing real playoff hockey!! Their goalie is standing on his head these days and if he keeps doing it Detroit is going to be in trouble.Hillar faced over 100 shots in the last 2 games-can you say rubber stop or what!! Also the other night Pittsburgh and Washington Ovechkin and Crosby both had hattricks in the same game-talk about superstar players or what.It is amazing what the playoffs bring out in these guys.

The Ducks got lucky last night. The Wings should of tied it late in the third, but the ref made a bad call on that one. Would of sent the game into OT.

It's looking to me like the Ducks will be around for a long time. Another huge factor there is the fact that they have someting like 19 Canadians on that team, even if the goalie is Swiss.

Canicks and Hawks, what a see saw battle this is. I thought the Canucks played well enough to win tonight. That overtime winner was a thing of beauty though, that's about the only way to beat Roberto, tip in with him going the wrong way. Tough for any goalie to stop. I can't wait to see the opening next game in Vancouver, the anthem will be nuts.

Your not the only one??? What's wrong with the Bruins. Maybe they need to get their skates sharpened.

Bruins played a desperation game today. Carolina was invisible. Shutouts are alway a good moral booster.

I suppose counting Detroit out was a mistake as well.

Chicago and Pittsburgh can both end it on home ice Monday Night.

I hope the Black hawks can't get it done tonight. I'm fed up with the Canucks losing their games in the end of the third.

There is more local Vancouver talent on the Blackhawks than Canucks. If the Canucks go down I'm backing the Hawks, 19/25 of the boys are Canadian! Their goaltending may do them in though.

Isn't Cooke playing for Boston. He's ex Canucks.
If Vancouver can stay out of the box and keep hold of their sticks when a man down we'll be okay. Black Hawks got two goals that way.

How about them Ducks!!!! They are up 3-1 over San Jose.Teemu is still playing great hockey there.

I'm wondering when he's going to quit his awesome career. He was already playing in Finnish ice hockey-team called Jokerit when I was a kid biggrin  And that's almost 20 years ago

And I'm so disappointed that Canada didn't win World Championship  hmm

This year's playoffs have been very entertaining.  I find it impossible to predict the outcome of any of the 4 series; they all could go either way.  With my time off, I have watched almost every minute of every game.biggrin

As Hillar said entertaining. Those two games tonight have to rank up there with some of the all time greats. I know if you are a Vancouver fan it's not a good night but they sure looked like they were going to pull it off. Let's hand it to the young guns in Chicago though, that was an impressive display of firepower, who'd think Roberto would ever give up 7?

Remember the Oilers teams that could outgun their opponents and win 7-5 games? Looks like we might have another.

You're right.  Didn't get to see much of the first game but when that second game tied up at 4 I said I don't care really who wins, this is awesome hockey, and that backhand goal by Kane, wow.  These young guys aren't just Cherry type bang and crash, they are highly skilled.  Would have liked to see Vancouver win but if you have the lead that many times in a series and can't hold on, what can I say.
