It's a black day in Vancouver today. 7 goals .......... when he's hot he's hot, but sucked big time last night.

Game 7 coming up for Bruins and Canes. I nominate Cam Ward as the best Canadian Goalie, hope he gets a look for our Olympic team.

Great hearing personal experiences, that must be something for the boy to have his name on the same trophy as Cam Ward, this is how we keep the Traditional Alive.  Hockey is Canada and every small town and city we live in.

My close encounter was on Saturday at a Tim Horton's in Barrie, ON. I was on my way to our cottage. Standing in line behind me was a gentleman wearing a very nice St. Louis Blues windbreaker. I'm thinking to myself, this is Leaf Country so either this man knows someone on the Blues or he is the world's biggest St. Louis fan.

So I ask him. Turns out he got the jacket from the team in St. Louis in February when he went down, Turns out he billeted B.J. Crombeen when he played for the Barrie Colts, said he just left on his honeymoon too, was in town for the wedding. Seems on his first day of High School in Barrie he met a girl from Midhurst, just north of town and came back to marry her. Don't you just love stories like these!

And B.J.'s dad Mike also played for the St. Louis Blues.
