The really neat thing about this wagon is they used the Nova tail lights on the wagons only.
Also, at least on the Nova's the tailgate emblems were all different from the sedans and hardtops due to the different slant to the sheetmetal.  If that is also true on this car then the Acadian rear panel and the extra top panel, part of the Beaumont package, are very very rare.
Your desire to clone a sport deluxe would be cool but I'm not sure about finding the Beaumont Sport Deluxe quarter panel emblems.  I have never seen any for sale.
Good Luck with the project, I always love seeing one saved from the crusher.

Thanks for the pics. Head liner looks real nice is it original

I believe it is.  The whole interior is original and unmolested except for the damage of the sun.  I think the whole car is original with the exception of "grandads backyard autobody!"

Thanks Pete and Steve for the cowl tag info. Thanks Norm for the info on the rear panel and lights. I didn't know they were actually the same as Nova but they sure appeared the same. The tailgate panel looks very unique and it sure looks to be a wagon piece. "Have to check the parts book" is what I hear Carl saying as he reads this. Haha! Thanks for all the enthusiasm guys. I'll try to keep posting pics as I go at this thing.

when i pulled apart my original tailgate. the factory had to cut access hole to put the acadian trim panel trim on. its in 2 pieces for reference. something to check if you ever pull the access panel off the inside of the gate and see if they did a hack job on yours too.

I will look at that for sure when I remove the Acadian trim. Carl knows of a tailgate in a from a Nova in a wrecking yard, so we will see the differences. The tailgate is so rotten but it functions 100%. I was amazed. The roof lip above the tailgate is very rusted out as well. What was yours like up there Steve?

Steve, you said your wagon didn't have back up lights so I don't understand.  The picture you posted of a black wagon at the farm shows back up lights in the bumper.
Isn't that a picture of your wagon?

Cool,  I see it now.  My 62 just has a Nova bumper on it.  It's a Beaumont but apparently back up lights were an option.
