The CP full size Pontiac registry

Thats a really slow line speed. When I was at Cami I think we did 200 per shift at one point. Even at 39 per shift that's about 9 minutes per car. Were the full sized cars built on the same line?

Can anyone tell me if there are any real 1967 327 turbo 400 cars out there with a build date prior to January of 67??? In some literature I have it seems that the 327 turbo 400 option became available in January of 67???

I don't think this one had a big block! Unless I send the VIN to Vintage and maybe measuring the height of the engine mounts on the frame, I am not sure how I can tell!

2quick2c: I posted a build run on the day my car was built and if you look there are 2 M40 L30 cars. Interestingly enough, they are 10 serial numbers apart. 155891 and 155901. If you give me your email, I will email it to you. It will be back in the archives here too.

THAT RED 2+2 LOOKS LIKE WAYNES 454 CAR. IF IT IS, HE ALSO HAS A '68 GRANDE PARISIENNE 427 SPECIAL ORDER CAR.

The Beaumont wagon and the 70 2+2 are sharp cars.

you only live once

Oh, I hear you!!! It is not the normal side of life that may kill me, it is all the stress and lack of sleep getting these cars home that will do me in! (lol) In the last near 2 months, I have done a round trip just beyond Edmonton... That is roughly 1800kms and 19 hours in one day. Then the trip to the west coast for the Grande... 2 1/2 days and roughly 4500kms to have a very stressful return driving trip home! You know it is bad when you feel like pukeing and not being able to sleep!!!
Then a 17 1/2 hour day an hour or better north of Winnipeg totaling 1400kms. Then last nights trip for this '68 Strato of 6 hours and 600kms.
That is just around 8300kms....... But now that they are home, now it is ok and things are getting back to normal... And yes, I agree, you only live once. Plus, look at all the great stories I can tell later!!!!

That's the one I sold 20 years ago and tracked down in January, with credit for finding it due to this forum.

Sadly, it's "never for sale".

My ex brother in law had a '69 2+2 black with a black vinyl roof and white interior.  It was this car that got me as fanatical about the '69's as I am.
