I'm trying to find the centerlink rubbers that go over the bolts on each side to hold in the grease. Anyone know where I can get these?? Napa,Lordco and Performance years were a no go

1970 GTO. If I can't find them I'll put the old ones on.
Hmmm, I was going to suggest trying the Chevelle places but I searched a few and couldn't find what you are looking for (except some show those piedes if you buy an entire center link) ... on my older car (1956) the tie rod ends have boots and they fit into the center link, and it is the tie rod ends that are lubed and their boots keep the grease in ... I no longer remember how my Chevelle was, I guess the later models were different?
Sorry, Dave

When i bought a new centerlink from Kanter Automotive, it came with 2 really cheezy foam washers, not much structure to them, but they do the trick.
Could you not just cut out some from a rubber innertube or simmilar material? All they do is act as a seal to keep water out of the joint.
I guess I'll have to try that. I don't think anything is wrong with the centerlink and those are just over $100 to the door. I phoned rareparts and waiting for one of the tech guys to phone back. They want you to buy a new centerlink..... that's why they don't sell parts for them!
