PRICE HELP..... '67 CAMARO "SURVIVOR"

I would appreciate anyone's opinion with regards to price on a '67 CAMARO SURVIVOR!
Owner wants to sell but unsure of price!!

'67 Camaro Coupe

ALL ORIG BODY PANELS.....No Winters
Exc Orig Paint car with mint orig blue interior
only 26,000 orig miles
6 cylinder with 3 speed stick on the floor
glass, chrome, stainless all like new
Under carriage, quarters, rockers, Mint
runs like new
no mods, needs nothing, never rusted
This car is unrestored, all orig., exceptionally clean!
Any price ideas welcome!
Many of these Camaros are for sale at $20 + and they are fixed up rusted junk!
Thanks
JR

I like being first that way every one else gets to rag on me. So here's my assessment. Six cylinder 3 speed makes it rare and odd but not necessarily desireable, low mileage huge factor, unrestored condition also a plus.  Picture would be nice. I'll stick my neck out and say $17,500 US.

I would agree in the $17,000 to $20,000 Can. price range but will be a tough sell in this market. The six cylinder really hurts the value of the 67-69 camaros and it will take a long time for them to esculate in value.

If truly all original and depending on date codes someone may need, this car might be purchased to swap interior, bumpers, trim, glass, jack etc and maybe even rims/tires or body parts if the same color for a 'more important' engine optioned '67 under resto?.

It sounds worse than it is and although sad to see in some ways the result may be a 'survivor' L78 or other Mk1V car using parts from this car and this six-banger still alive and a nice car but with incorrect dated parts and repop interior etc?.

Any pics we can drool over?.

I know where there are 2 nice 67's for sale. One is a 327 2brl, and the other is a 6 cyl/3 spd. Both were brought from down south and have never had any rust. The owner is not even getting any offers at $14K and $12K.

I would hold onto the car for a bit and see if the market comes back some.

Thanks for the fast response!!
So the general consensus so far is between $15-20 Can $$
Few ?????...... so why is a '69 Coupe 6 cylinder - stick worth $25 as mentioned?
Also.......why would anyone hack into and take parts from a True Orig Paint Unmolested Survivor car like this just to build another of the countless restored camaros out there! ........make a more Important V8 car??....and then call it a Survivor?......anyway.....It is getting very difficult to find Mint Survivor Cars.....Camaros especially, because everyone ( most) have either butchered them into wannabes or clones or ?? True Quality SURVIVOR cars are very rare and special cars......far more important than some restored car. As time goes by they will probably become some of the Ultimate collector cars. Big time collectors today don't want to buy a car without the orig drivetrain and body and will pay huge premiums for orig paint/interior etc. Too many fakes, restamps, fake paper etc so Survivors become the Real Deal.....obviously some more expensive than others! When was the last time you saw a #2 + ORIG PAINT 67-8-9 CAMARO??......Thanks again......comments and price estimate on this 67 welcome!
JR
I would think a Camaro 6 cyl with 3 speed stick would be a lot more fun to drive than a 327 boring 210hp - powerglide car!

I'd say way lower. I have a bud out west that would let me have a 68 rag v8( org 327 gone 350 installed in the 70S) for about 10-12 g's. If a 6 banger hardtop is worth 20, this thing is worth 35 then. Let the people who are losing their shirts in this slide get out and the $ will lower dramatically. I wouldn't pay more than 7500$ can. Just my 2 cents though. Still a cool car.

To think I sold this 67 RS SS 350 4 speed car back in the 70's for $1600.

A car like this should driven and not auctioned off. Unfortunately it isn't worth the bucks but it is a gem. 10-15000.00 is normal for any unrestored car. These cars are nice but they suffer from years of age and need to be restored. Most people way the restoration against the purchase price and this car would be high at 15000.00. The market will dictate the price but that is steep for most home based restorations. The numbers dictate the price.

I found a friend an original 69 Z car. California Black plate car originally Rallye Green with white stripes, Had a repaint but still all original mint interior, still original exhaust, even had the locks on the exh manifold bolts totally rust free
$13,000

I wont say how many years ago though...

Thanks again but please understand!........This car NEEDS NOTHING!!!!!!! Looks like it came right out of the box!
You will not have to or want to restore it! Survivor cars that need restored are not that big a deal, BUT this is as close to a #1 as you will find!

Are you sure it is a Number 1?  Very few cars meet this standard.  It is usually only reserved for cars that have just been freshly restored.  26,000 miles is still quite a bit of road use, I don't know if it would meet the Number 1 standard.  In any event, you should pick up a copy of the Old Cars Price Guide, that should give you a pretty good idea, although like others have said, the current state of the economy has pushed down the market at least 20% lower over what it would be in "normal times."

This guy wants $80,000  for a 67 396 car numbers matching except engine. The engine is the thing you would want numbers matching.  He says apraised at $10,000 but wants $80,000 ? Maybe an error . Maybe he means $8000.00. I can see by the heater core cover is originaly a small block car.

Actually I think he meant to say his appraisal is for $100,000.  Doesn't matter, both figures are ridiculous for what is in the pictures.  Maybe there are some Yenko or Baldwin-Motion emblems he has mistakenly left off? laughing.gif

Anyway, I think this is one of those "See honey, I tried to sell the car but got no response" ads.

Maybe the emblems are Nickey or Berger?
