help1960 wheel bearing grease seals


When i pulled the front drums to replace the wheel bearings and brakes. No inner wheel bearing grease seals. And i can't find them anywhere. Help!!

Welcome!! So, these seals? Not there at all? You have looked for replacements at the auto parts stores? Great looking Rag by the way!!!

I tired the local parts stores. They only list seals back to 1962.

did you try some of the chevy impala sites? Thats what i do when im lookin for parts for the 59.

Looks like a Bonneville, US car, chev parts will be different

good eye, dident see that at first. I thought i saw on the net one time a site dedicated to full size pontiacs that was out of the states, i will try to find it again and i bet they will know.

There are a couple:

- Ames Performance http://www.amesperf.com/

I have found a few things there I could not get elsewhere, but ....

I checked both, the 60 seals are not available at either one, sorry cry.gif

would a place like  Kaman Bearing be able to measure the spindle and drum and come up with a size?  I went to them when I was rebuilding a russian motor for my model airplane and came up with a usable seal and bearing.
