A/C cars that have no A/C in a heat wave have no bottom vents to opendisbeliefdisbeliefthat's the only problem. Car temp was 150 and 180 on the hills at 125 k's
Pic is driving up the Coke.

I got to hook up the A/C stuff I got from Pascal. Other than that my trip is going fine and in a A/C Kia iiiiiiieeeeeeeeee

Worst thing GM ever did (OK maybe not the WORST but it is right up there) is Astro-Ventilation in 1968, i.e. eliminate the vent windows, followed by eliminating the fresh air vents. Thankfully my 56 has both (1) vent windows and (2) cable-controlled fresh air vents at the kick panels. When I install A/C it will be a modern recirculating system but when you want A/C you want it as cold as possible (especially down here) so that is fine, and I will have all windows including vent windows and of course the fresh air vents closed then, max cool yeah - but in nicer weather, in February and March, ahhhh I will have free flowing fresh air galore biggrin.gif

Solution to late-model (i.e. after 1967) woes: upgrade to an older car wink.gif

Coould be worse - could be in a 68 Corvette, known world-wide as being the best (?) at cooking the driver. Yeah, I owned one, stupid me.
