I was told that you can only use fenders and what not from a 65 chevelle on my 65 Acadian Beaumont unless you use the whole front clip from a 64 Chevelle anyone can help me out on this as I have the whole front clip core support included from a 64 Chevelle as Acadian sheet metal may be hard to find or does anyone know where I can find any. Thanks Olin
I have never heard of a Chevelle clip fitting an Acadian. I guess anything is possible, maybe that is what they mean by shrinking the metal.
I posted a rustfree set of 62-65 Acadian fenders here on the site a week or so ago. The 65 Acadian/Nova core support is a one year application but I'm pretty sure it is being reproduced, check the National Nostalgic Nova website, nnnova.com. Hoods are 62-65 Acadian/Nova and front bumpers are 62-65 Acadian/Nova, I think I have one also.
Turns out he has a ebay purchased 65 Beaumont Custom that went through some front end damage. In Virginia???
1) 65 chevelle fenders work 2) 65 hood works 3) 65 doors work 4) 65 trunk works 5) Quarters work 6) 65 chevelle inners work
1) You need the grill center mount that holds the hood down. 2) Weld the 65 chevelle center hood trim holes and chev letter holes. 3) Any 65 chevelle headlight buckets work for the back of the grill. 4) a chevelle rad support will work. 5) The 65 chevelle filler between the grill and bumper will work but don't put the fillers under the headlight buckets, Beaumonts don't have that.
P.S We want some pictures please!!

There are a couple of slight modifications nessesary to fenders and the rad support. I found out yesterday. The fender front edge where the trim for the grille mounts has to be modified slightly and some new holes drilled in it for the mounting studs. The rad support needs a couple holes drilled to locate the fender support bracket that also holds the back of the grille in. Be carefull if your car is painted. I'd highly recomend test fitting this stuff before paint. I didn't as I was told the fenders are exactly the same, but I just got a set of actual beaumont fenders and rad support, and found the difference.
i do know for a fact , that a 64 chevelle front clip will fit onto a 65 beaumont. ive done it. then i traded the 64 chevelle front clip for a 65 front clip off a 4 dr sedan when i found one.now all back to 65 beaumont....lol
