 Me and the wife went in the woodstock derby and she kicked my but. Well sort of I was running blocker for her and took my tranny out but she did great I was so proud of her we had a great time.She even won best looking car, I tell yeah I shure have been taking alot of ribbing!biggrin

Holy man, shes' the one !! I used to do this, shamedly the last car was a not too bad
black 66 stratochief wagon.... The thing caught fire on me and I had to bail out !!

I need a 12bolt rear end out of a cutlass not sure what year but one that the axles bolt in like 9inch ford. does not need to be posi even a 9inch ford out of car will work!

Not very good Steve got black flaged in the heat for a masive motor to motor hit then a masive drivers door hit. So we got the car ready for the concy and wouldnt you know it snapped a axle so we never got into the feature! I need to find a good axle now im making lots of H/P and the axle twisted off inside the carrier.

YEah I couldnt belive my eyes complete twist to the brake amazing what a high reving small block can do with a set of 3:73's and big tires! So I have been told I need a early 12bolt out of a cutlass the type where the axles bolt in like a 9" I know you can find one for me Todd!

A twelve bolt olds refers to the amount of bolts holding the cover in place not the amount of bolts on the ring gear
all olds rearends are 10 bolt ring gears - usually considered not to be as strong as a chev 12bolt ... only nice thing is lack of c-clip axles so wheel usually stays attached when the axle breaks

I am aware of this the lack of c-clip axles is the reason I want to start using them. You see with the diff welded all I need to worry about is the axle staying in place and if it does brake they are real easy to change between heats! I think they are generally narrower then most 12bolt chevys that I could find on the cheap.
