Well my team put two wins together today. It wasn't easy but we got out of this one 3-2. They were listless and were getting beat to the puck and we trailed 1-0 after one. A little game plan change to start the seconds and we got two leading 2-1 at end of two.
We had several chances to put this one out of reach in the third but no finish and a good keeper. With pressure on we made a bad pinch at the blue line with 50 second to go and bingo it's 2-2.
I had planned to finish the game with my grinders figuring they would get the goalie out but when they scored I called another line to go and wouldn't you know it, with 31 seconds left they got the winner!
Will do Vern, Back at it 10:30 this morning, practice today then Friday, next two games are next Saturday & Sunday. This is my life until May, four times a week at least.
