67 327, what breather decal?

What air breather decal did a 67 B body CP 327 have?
I'd like to get one for the GP if I could.

In the library   the 67 brochure says it ASTRO-FLAME   I can only find a Astro-Flash

Referring to my well researched Engine Nomenclature thread confirms this 327 was named Astro-Flame. I agree that the decal would be the gold & black  valve cover ones similar to the 283 on the cherry 66 Laurentian below:

Did any of the decals ever go on straight? I'm going to powder coat my vc's this winter and install the decals, but I sure couldn't bring myself to putting them on the factory correct 12 degree slant...(I think my 66 327 is a Super Econoflame...)

Beaumonts and Acadians used the "Econo" in the names.

No breather decal?
Bummer cry

I ordered 2 67 327/275 valve cover decals from Bruce.

Now I'll have to at least paint the covers before adding the decals, and I'll put them on straight regardless of the original 12 degree factory tilt!

Thanks Guys.

Thanks Mort1967!

I always had a feeling that the breather had a decal at one time. I bought valve cover decals for it. They are nice but the script looks kind of, well, off imop.

The residue on my Breather lid is a good clue it may have had a decal on it at one time. Don't you think? I mean this thing is pretty untouched, Perhaps a spray can hear and there, but thats it.
