409 Parisienne

Looking for information on the 409 equipped 1964 Pontiacs.

Does anyone out there know what the factory air cleaner looked like on this car?  Or have a photo of one?   (single 4BBL)

Also ,... what type of decals were on the valve covers and air cleaner.   I know that they were different than Chevys.  And I'm guessing that the air cleaner was different on a Canadian car. .??.

My 409 came out of a 1965 Impala.  I'm trying to detail it to match the '64 Parisienne it's going into.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Not likely, last we heard he was just incarcerated for a long time.

My research shows no Air Cleaner decal on the 409, just the valve cover decal as shown. All versions of the 409 were badged "Super Flame".

348's got "Astro Flame" for 4bbl versions and "Super Astro Flame" for tri power versions.

If he's away for a while should a guy be saving info from his site? Could there be a chance it might "go down"?

Good idea of saving the info on the Bruneau Performance site!  It will eventually be gone once the ISP bills go to far into arrears.  I'm sure he's not to concerned about paying bills from jail. I noticed some directories on the site are already broken.  Which means that the web space has not been paid for certain space on the site.

There's a lot of info on Canadian Pontiacs on that site.  It's quite possible that the site will never be back once it's gone.,. given the circumstances.
