If my tires are bigger than yours.. What gear is it?

I always knew how to change gears in speedo/trans , but wondered how to correct for tire size? A Acadian with 3.55's and E70-14 is different than a B-body with 3.55's and 825-14's    I found this formula today biggrin

Out here in Western Canada all we do is get on a straight stretch of North - South or East - West highway, and calibrate our speedo's by the road allowances.  When they surveyed Western Canada in the early 1900's, they put a 66' wide road allowance every 2 miles North/South, and every mile East/West.

And he forgot the most important part. We get on the north south roads so that we cross a road every mile. Then we drive it timing ourselves. When we cross a road every 30 seconds we know we've built a decent car...... wink

Here on PEI we're lucky to get a stretch of straight road that's a 100 metres long! Ha, ha.

That would be the Carl who says he crosses a mile of road every 30 seconds.  I assume that would be all three then?

One of my favourite lines!

"What's behind me is not important"

CannonBall Run if I remember correctly.  Wasn' t it the Italian driver in the Ferrari just after he tore off the rear view mirror?

Remember, what's behind you isn't important? I guess, unless it's a car with an elaborate flashing
red light show going on. Then you just MIGHT want to pull over and see what HIS problem is. LOL!
