Any one need some BBC parts? Or take the entire engine! No intake, or oil pan.
Its a mid 80's 454, complete and mostly unassembled. The block is trashed. 2 bolt main, cast crank, 045 small oval port heads. No intake or oil pan, but the rest is there.
Water got into the cylinders and froze before I bought the engine- busted the cylinder walls on cylinders 1 and 5 IIRC. 6 of the 8 pistons are seized in the bores from water. Basically - the block and pistons are junk. I currently have all 8 cylinders soaking in penetrating oil but I am probably just going to take a torch and melt the pistons out. It was a standard bore block and still had the factory head gaskets in it when I took it apart.
You could probably sleeve the block - it would need at least two sleeves and a probably a 60 overbore for cleanup. Not really worth it on a 2 bolt block.
