If you are in the same parts book as I am, (maroonish colour) go to page 52 in the data section, group 3.725

There it also shows a Carter 4027S for manual trans, 4028S for powerglide on a 327. No mention of a Holley on a 275 horse though. I am not positive the Beaumonts had the Carters, they may just have copied the Chevelle parts book.

Found that, thanks.  So it is narrowed down to Carter and Rochester?  (Is one any better than the other?)
thx guys.

I have a Rochester bias mostly because I don't have much Carter experience.

The Rochester is an easy one to rebuild. Also, if anything I would guess it's a bit better on fuel as well.

Thx Carl. We'lll see if anyone with a 327 chimes in advising as to what theirs may have come with.

my buddy down the street, still has his original  (1967 Chevy II  HT bench seat 327-275 4 speed Saginaw 12 bolt 3:08)   It had/has a Quad Jet     I used it on my 72 Ventura 307 in 1972   Its was the best working Quad I ever saw...   There are 5 other 327-275's in this town and all Quads....I actually have a 73 Quad in nice cond..

327 question!   When I bought my Ventura II last year, the previous owner, had just paid someone, to fix a leak on Headman headers..  After driving the heck out it of it this year (almost 100 miles), the left side blew out at 1 spot..   Should I be installing stock manifolds?, and which would I look for (if I decided to go that way) 2.5 would be the desirable  like corvette?

Here is Ventura II  with Corvette style manifolds   the left is tight!!!  I have a photo from below.   I can fix my headers, but they seem to be blowing out every 100 miles or so..    I can still have the great sound... I never go to the track, and the car has travelled to 3 cruise nights (25 miles round trip)....  and the 3:73 gears are going too  biggrin
