Cool Post Car Stops By For A Visit **WARNING** Non-GM Content!

I met this fellow at the Tillsonburg swap meet. Mike owns this cool 1958 Plymouth Plaza 2 door sedan. He popped by today to see the Dodge. What a sweet car this is. The Plaza was the base Plymouth for 1958. Originally powered by a flat 6, she now has a super strong 413 backed by a built 700R4 trans and a Ford 9". I got to go for a ride and she pulls very hard! It's hard to find a 58 this solid. The car originally came from Georgia.

He likely won't know Carl as he bought the car exactly how you see it. You are right the tint was "just right".

I don't know if it's my aging or what but the older I get, the more I appreciate cars other than GM's as well. Used to be I didn't look at a non-GM product.

That is a very well done old car. Just the right mix of old and new.

Carl, you can appreciate non-GM without any concern, you just don't have to OWN one wink.  Actually, there's many non GM cars I woudn't mind owning. (They just might cause me to swear more!)

I have always preached that the GM vehicles have the best interchangeability for parts. Also, put together the simplest i.e. easiest to work on. I still think that way but I am appreciating the beauty of other brands more now than I used to.

Another cool feature of this car is the vent wing windows were removed and custom glass was cut. Whoever built this car knew what they were doing. The glass fit perfectly and there wasn't a hint of wind noise.

Excellent car, looks like it could pass for a patrol car.

I really need to get down to Roblins for a tour at some point! That 59 Dodge looks to have a decent windshield. I might need one if I can't track down the guy I bought my car from to get the spare one he had..
