I tried to upload pictures but i think i made a BOOBOO. I will try again. These pictures are the start to Project 66. Now no laughing. Like i said this is the process and i want to do my bro proud. I will update as the project continues so you can follow the progress if you wish. P.S. The dude in the pictures is my bro and owner of Project 66.
Great to see! You will find those on this forum to be an unbelievable wealth of knowledge. (And also in many cases a great source for parts.) I for one also have a 66 SD. Although my abilities are limited to the basic's, I have had my car for almost 30 years so I do know a little bit about them. (There are also manuals available on ebay and/or kijiji.) Good luck, keep the photo's coming, and thanks for saving another Cdn car!

Well this car was owned by my younger brother in the 80s. He saw an ad for it in aug 09 and went to see it. What he didnt know at the time was this was his old beaumont he sold. Talk about fate. So he picked it up. Unfortunatly the person he sold the car to died shortly after he bought it. The person who my brother got the car from bought it at the estate sale with the intentions of restore it. It just sat around all the years and never touched it. That is till my brother got it back and we wanted to restore it. So thats what we are doing now. We have a hugh budget $0.00. and a lot of time. The car needs a lot of TLC and thats ok. We have a completeion date of May 23 /10 his birthday. With regards to your question about the cars colour i think the car was Red Black Brown all the above.LOL. I stripped it off. Not done yet. But hey its a project and me and my bro get to have some good times together doing it. I will keep you up to date as is goes forward. Your buddys 66 Sport Deluxe look like its on its way to being a fine machine. You got to keep me up to date on his progress. Thank for your e-mail. Gibby
