Cool Stingray Photos

Sorry! Not the car but from my trip to the Caymans. I bought one of those cheap disposable underwater cameras and shot some photos while swimming with the Stingrays. It gives you a good idea how many there were!

One final shot. This one was taken a few seconds after Connie fed one Stingray a piece of squid. She started a frenzy and was swarmed by a bunch of them. The guide said it was important to rub your hands in the water to get the scent off after feeding one. She didn't get a chance to do this. Freaky!

Nice photos,  although I do like the Stingray car better
If that had been me, instead of Connie,  you would have seen a man walking on water....
thanks for reminding me, to NEVER go In the water again..... EVER

Thanks for the photos Todd. Also brings back some fun memories. They had a similar situation a couple hours by boat from Belize, Central America. Same thing they had got used to being fed and were just like pets. They have a feel to them that is very unique. Totally enjoyed all your pictures, those southern holidays are money well spent.

I watched a progam where they caught a 15 foot wide one of these. VERY SCARY!!! Also very cool at the same time. Can you eat stingray and would it taste like Halibit?
