Re 1964 Beaumont door glass

Does anyone live in the lower mainlabf of BC that has a 1964 Beaumont or Chevelle convertible that I can come and take some door glass measurements of?
I seem to have (2) different sizes of door glass between converible and Hardtop.
Trying to figure which one is right. Maybe rears are wrong also.

Tks Brian

Which dimensions would you like? My car is right here and I'm currently working on it so if you'd like something measured just shout.

The one that slopes down on the top rear edge is the rag one. The hardware that holds the glass is different too. You need to use the rag stuff. The rear quarter windows are totally different also. They are much larger on the HT's. You can use Ht doors and glass but the convertible top won't seal that well at the top because the top has a curve to it. This stuff comes up on ebay all the time. About 100.00 to 200.00 a window.

I know on GTO at least, and likely Beaumont as well, the glass is not the same between 64 and 65. It seems to me the way it attaches to the channel could be the difference. Is one of the windows you have from your car originally? If not, you likely should make sure it's the correct year as well.

Don't see any slop. Put straight edge and yes different. About 1/2 in at rear.
I measure rear one one at 14 3/8in and the other at 14 7/8in from glass holder to top
of glass. Fronts seems the same.
Rear windows have gentle curve were Hrtp has and angle, correct?

I just measured the back of mine and the glass is 14 7/8 and it's got a pretty good slope to it.

I have a convertible 1/4 glass here, would you like a picture of it?

Post a picture of what you have and I will try to dig out some of mine. Yes the Ht are a angle and the rags are curved at the top rear. As for that measurement unless you have the doors apart and measure the actual glass they don't make sense. The height can be adjusted in the door.

DSCN1176.JPGHere are some photos. The curved one is the convertible and it is curved at the rear top of the glass. The picture of the angled lower front is the covertible. The Ht is marked in felt pen. Hope this helps.
