RE: A couple of neat old coins (or) What else do you collect?

i know the Cliff Burton bass your talking about, they are heavy, but i bet it sustains forever.ive built about 7 or 8 so far, my first one was a mess also!! I built it useing 2x4s and panneling! it actually worked but the strings were an inch off the fretboard. It was an explorer body shape, like the one James Hetfield played way back when.

yeah the double neck is, and i dont have it anymore which is sad but i believe its for sale again. Cool guitar to play, especially the one time i took it to a gig a friend of mine asked me to come and play at and i showed up with this and his band just added "over the hills and far away" from Zepplin to their set list, so it was pretty cool to play that song with the 12 string part at the begining, and then switch to the 6 string. He plays it with just the 6 string but it sounds pretty cool with the 12.

Amazing!  I love music and have a big LP (some 78's) CD and Quad eight track collection(They sound awesome!) but I've never had any talent to actually play it.

Speaking of twin necks I'm  a big fan of Jimmy Bryant and Speedy West (The Stratosphere Boogie)   What a picker Jimmy was! (Consider that was done in the early fifties)

I was in a record shop last week and was surprised at the amount of vinyl now available. Just like the old days.

Yeah definately post me when you want to sell.  I love the feel and sound of those old 78's especially.  When you play one of those there is a lot going on!
