The yellow manual is for the 2000 series = Laurentian and 2200 series = Pathfinder. The red manual is for the 2500 series = Chieftain Six and 2700 series Chieftain Eight
Thanks Fitz,i have a manual trans so the missing pages shouldnt be a problem.
they are not really missing, they use 50-52 PG for most of the picture or description, with a 53-54 PG supplement, but the supplement is not complete, like the oil pressure specification , they use the 50-52 only... it's not really a problem, because it's mostly the same. Like I said before, a good book anyway.
With your manual trans, you are right, it's not a problem...
Fitz.

I understood what you meant by "missing pages" I have followed your restoration all over the web before finding this site. The work you do is very impressive, and i would love to have the skills to do what you do. Is there any other manuals i should be looking for?
For me it's mostly the only one I have for the car. But the most helpfull for me is picture on the net. Picture from Chevrolet 53-54 car. Only because they are all over the net, canadian Pontiac are not.
In your book you will see more 49-52 stuff than 53-54, like brake, but it's OK when you know your car correctly, you can see the differences.
If you need something don't hesitate to contact me or in need of a special picture of somewhere in or under the car let me know.
Fitz.
PS: thanks for compliment, but I think I'm more patient then skills.
