We're taken for granted by many Americans. Some even take great joy in making fun of Canadians. But, deep down inside, ask most Americans who they'd rather have living next door to them and I doubt they'd choose differently.
Thank all Canadians for your support of our fallen officers here in Tacoma. I live close to the coffee shop where the shooting occurred and use it regularly for lattes for the wife and daughter. I know many officers in the area and am very saddened by these events.
Unfortunatly we again had a similar ceremony yesterday at the Tacoma Dome for a Pierce County Sheriff shot and killed in Eatonville on a domestic violence call. Many Canadian Mounties were present also.
In November we buried a fallen Seattle Officer and you were there. Thanks!
Six Officers in two months. What a sad state of affairs for our area.
