I have just learned of some terrible news. I do not have a lot of details,
Hillar was found in his home last night, he has passed away. We are speechless, he was at our home for dinner on December 30 and we had a great night with the family. I have been calling him for a week or more. His last post on here was January 1st. When I know more I will let you know.

Very sad news. I got to meet Hillar last June at a parts swap meet outside London. Real good guy, he's really going to be missed.

My heart goes out to his family. I understand he has young children, and this will be devastating for them.
Very sad!

That's very sad news. I remember we both wondered where he was, Ray, when we met on the bridge.

There aren't enough good guys around who love these old cars. We can't afford to lose someone like Hillar.

I agree Carl, I'm in for whatever is decided for "us" as a group.

I too am stunned. I learned from Hillar last summer that he and I attended the same elementary school at the same time in the 60's.
