A sport deluxe even... I always thought there were ~2000 63 acadian rags built though?

Are you serious? They were just discussing the chance of a 4 cyl 63 SS Nova on Steve's and the talk was that the SS had to be a 6.

That would make another unique feature of an Acadian vs Nova if so.

I think that one has been for sale for over a year. This might be the best time to make an offer!

Yeah, mouldings are for a regular Beaumont... but it does have the correct seats, console, badging, dash trim.

Strange things happen to cars over the years and the guy seems to be asking top dollar for it but isn't claiming sport deluxe, who knows!

Strange,  I checked my parts manual and it says only engine available for '63 SD hard top & rag top was a 6 cyl but a non SD Beaumont could have a 4 cyl.

I have seen the 4cyl Acadian Convertible from Sarnia on several occasions.  He even has a matching trailer that is occasionally towed behind it to car events.
I have his card someplace but cannot but my hands on it right now.
As I remember, the car is not a Sport Deluxe, it is a 62 or 63 Acadian Beaumont Convertible with the original 4 cyl motor.  Black with the red interior.  Very nice car that is driven everywhere, no trailer here.

My Dad had a '62 Acadian 3-in-the-tree with a 4-cylinder engine in it. It got sold to a guy in Goderich Ontario back in the early '70's and he made a garden tractor with the engine out of it.
I've never let my Dad live it down as I wanted him to keep it for 5 years when I'd be getting my license. Kids and their crazy thoughts eh? I certainly wouldn't have let it be made into a garden tractor though! SIGH!
