I'm confused Carl. I thought it is the car that was just listed on here a while back for around $24,000.

You guys, Carl has you going. I think he is just trying to find out who bought it and what part of the country it ended up. Maybe we'll find out.

I could get you this one. Unfortunately it has that evil Muncie that you hate so much.

Blue in World of Wheels, fresh restoration. Owner not ready to sell.
Light blue in alley 75ish. Only needs trunk and body mounts, quarters, paint, find matching #'s engine or rebuild existing and paint.
Yellow, I hear that it is undergoing restoration.

It was fairly rare being one of sixty-six built..
Someone said it was the last Beaumont built in 67 and was a GM company car...
I will post some photos..   I heard it was for sale last year, and I would like to know where it as , as I will want to buy it   (old memories)

Carl why didn't you just e-mail me about the car if you really wanted to it back I would have contacted the new owner on your behalf but honestly I don't think he is going to sell it as it is now part of a big collection. My e-mail address is in my profile as well. dlewistoronto@hotmail.com

The 75ish for the light blue car is $7500? Is it an original big block car and isn't the Butternut car Helmut's and if it is I don't think he will sell it as the last time I spoke to him he was planning on restoring it since it is likely the most heavily optioned 67 SD Rag built with the 350hp engine, disc brakes, 4 spd, headrests and my favourite, power windows.

Whoops!  Ouch!  Yes, they would sure look better in the stock spot. To each his own...

The blue one was discussed on here... NON-numbers, 4spd... $75k! somewhere closer to the $7.5k would be more reasonable. So I would suggest both of those cars are not for sale.

The 'restored by wes' convertible will be telling going through an auction...the current owner will be in for a sticker shock i'd suspect.

Does anyone know if the dark green clone sd which was nicely frame off restored ever sold out of BC for $28k?

$75K? Are they nuts? It doesn't even look like it is a 738 V.I.N. car, no gills on the side. Geez I only got $23K for my numbers matching rust free 738 car and it took me months to sell. I wish I could have found a way to keep it.

I think I said I could probably find the car and with "enough" money almost everything is for sale.
The light blue car is available for the right money. Take that to mean lots. The owner has been prepared to sell for a long time and still owns it.
I think we're all all kind of joking here. My impression is that no one here is going to spend $75k plus on an SD convertible restored or not and that some people believe that they will get that kind of money.
