Yes, its pretty plain, the perfect drag strip car. Power nothing. Yes, was a 6 cyl, 3 on the tree. Now a 327, 4 speed, it was like this when I got it. Seems to be a car that was stuck in the 80's. Currently doing a frame off, resto mod, BB going in it.

Neat car with so few options. I would normally expect a 4dr or a sedan rather than a 2dr hardtop to be ordered this way. Maybe a dealer ordered car that was inventory for the lot???

What color are you going to do your car Kevin?

Agreed, cool to see a hardtop with such basic equipment. I don't ever recall seeing a setup like that before.

No baseline hardtops... I was going to look at the model list before i posted that! I should have! I'm surprised that they made base model convertibles then! It does make sense, since Ive only seen the one peice rear letters on every other body type!

Thanks for that pic, Fred. I like that, blue is one of my favorite colors, seen it on the color samples, just didn't know what it looked like on a whole car.

On another topic, whats the deal with your friend Willie, where did he get all those Beaumont parts? He must have been collecting for a long time. Where does this he live, there was a suggestion of having an auction. Just curious.
