Some may not agree with me but I would say if the doors are on/closed and you lock them so they are not opened by accident, then it should be well enough supported.

And if I'm wrong, well.......................that has happened before!!!

I have had mine on saw horses for years with no problems, doors open and close no problem, door gaps have not moved. But I have good rockers and a good floor.

Anything I've ever seen or read when it comes to taking the body off of a frame it's been firmly stated to make sure if the doors are off the vehicle, to put braces in. Any body-off restoration I've
seen pictures of have always had braces. I would think for all it takes, it would be best just to brace them and that way you'll have absolutely no worries. Just my opinion anyways Jonathan.

The braces I have seen "usually" go from the top front door piller post to bottom of rear pillar [1/4 panel] & top of rear to bottom of front post to form an X !!! Just need to be Tack Welded in. This should "stiffen it up"

When I did my Lemans....the only floor support I had was the rear brace at the front of the rear seat. That was it, it was one BIG open hole. Once I removed the body, I never opened the doors until I had the front floor back in. They still open as well today (back on the frame) as they did before I removed it. No bracing done here!!!
