The white steering wheel is interesting. Canadian Studebakers produced in Hamilton also had white steering wheels. I wonder if they both came from the same supplier?

That was the base trim level steering wheel. Colour matched was only on the more expensive Ford's. Fronty's were generally sold by  Meteor dealers so they would have a compact to compete with the others. The Comet is what replaced it in the lineup.
