A little known fact is the owner of my 65 SD 4spd used to own that 65 in the web site that is listed.

I'm not sure I follow.
I'm in the midst of looking for work. I've taken time off to be with the Mrs.. and the baby is due within the next 4 weeks.. but I'm itching to work man.
there's a "planet of the apes" pre-quel starting soon, so that might turn into a job for me.
Anyone looking for a welder? Aluminum TIG is kinda my specialty.. would love to get some experience on titanium. LOL

still no work done to my car. hmmmm..

Carl posted a link to Henry with his 65 SD in Abby. I was just saying that the fellow that I bought my blue 65 SD 4 spd car from used to own Henry's car in High school. Small world, eh? Happy to here the baby is healthy and coming along soon. Very exciting. I think your car work could be on hold for a little while. Hope your work situation improves. Are you done in Vancouver?

ahhhhh... I met Henry last year.. nice chap..
thanks for the well wishes on the baby too.
I'm just starting to look for work again here in Vancouver, and will "stick it out" here for a year and see what happens from there. maybe back to "cowtown" after that.
picking away at the car every couple of months sure is wearing thin.. LOL.. oh well.. paid for right?

Do you know if there is anyone reproducing the interior headliner chrome for our cars yet? mine is pretty dented up.

I don't think that chrome is reproduced yet. So far it's the same thing, buy up sets and high grade them to make a good set. I have no idea how many sets I have. Once this new shop is organized I hope to know. Are any pieces good or are they all smashed? I imagine that you could bang it out and buff the trim. I was told oven cleaner will take the coating off the aluminum. Are you staying out there or are you still trying to move?

the set I have is OK, but has a few small dings in them. I paid about 315.00 bucks to have my windshield chrome repaired and polished, so I was hoping to avoid the same for the interior chrome.. but.. i guess "it is what it is".
As for staying here in vancouver... I think the Mrs. wants to stay as long as possible. Really, I dont blame her. it's pretty great here. I just need to get into a place with a garage so I can get back at "home projects".
