Even though its not a Pontiac it is still a good looking car.  I would have no problem driving it. A 427  and a tear drop hood would look cool.

My ex-father-in-law had one of these, brand new (he was a travelling salesman and wore out a car a year) with a 390 and it would cruise all day long at 80 mph in living-room-couch comfort ...

As a 2 dr post model it should be a Custom or Custom 500 by the look of the chrome. The data plate on the left door pillar should have the info needed. I see it has Galaxie name plates on it?
If it was a Galaxie it would have chrome window surrounds and more elaborate chrome trim. I may be a bit rusty on my Ford knowledge but I had quite a few of these in my wasted youth and never remember seeing a 2 dr post Galaxie like this.
