I can't find a power brake conversion kit for my car and all the kids at the speed-shops are useless unless it has a turbo. Is there another kind of car i can ask for parts for by chance? thanks guys
since you really want to put powerbrake modification, those 53-54 Pontiac have a really good drum braking system. 52 and prior is not so good as 53-54.
It's easier to fix your system and costless than putting a dual system with powerbrake. My 2 cent.

yeah i do agree with you fitz , I think i will keep it original i found all the parts i need except having a hard time finding drums. I should be able to match the shoes locally.thanks for your 2 cents i appreciate it.
you can also find it to your auto parts store, they are the same as rear drum brake like 71 chevy full size.
Ask for chevrolet 53-54 to your parts store, they are all listed for US model (series 25-27), and they don't know they are the same as a 53-54 chevy. If not available, kanter is your best source.
