She got to see the cabin last weekend already when we took off the shutters and hooked up the water. Even took her for a walk on the beach. Maybe this weekend she'll get to put her toes in the lake. Oh and I'll probably bring her to the car show as well, never too soon.wink

hopfully replacing the starter welding the frame into postion  getting new front tires  and if i have time mig weld the drivers floor pan into place then sleep alot

Well then I guess I will see you at the Casino. Will be there with the 54. Have a suite booked for Sat to Sunday. Should be fun.

I'm driving to Vancouver tomorrow to work on Friday. Hoping to get it all done by about 5 o'clock so I can head back home friday night. On Saturday I have my choice between the Blossom Run here in Summerland, or head up to Kelowna for the Knox Mountain Hillclimb.

About an hour's drive north east of Winnipeg on the south eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg. Beautiful white sandy beaches on that side of the lake. Awesome sunsets too. 1 of my 2 favorite summer vacation spots, tied with Lake of the Woods/Kenora area.
My In-laws have had this cabin since the 40's, a little piece of history, 4th generation now enjoying it. As a kid I also enjoyed this side of the lake as well, as my family had a cabin at the next beach north, Lester Beach, sold many years ago now.
