What happens in winter when they pack up with snow and ice? Just a little out of balance? Maybe they could make a side skirt so it looks like a tire again.

Even better - park in a puddle over night and try to drive away in the morning when the puddle is frozen...

You may not have frozen puddles but you sure do get more puddles and grey skies than anybody else in Canada. I think I prefer -30C, a clear blue sky and sunshine over 8 months a year of grey, overcast, rainy days.
biggrin

Seriously though - remember the last time you put beer in the freezer to cool off and you left it there too long....

OK...so a little off topic but I gotta tell you my cold weather story about the Vancouver Island boy(me) in the cold north...I was driving tanker truck in northern bc in 2001, it was a cold morning(-30 or so) and I was rolling along at about  85km.....I started to hear this houling sound, worryed there was something wrong with my truck, I slowed down to 70km and low and behold the houling went away.   So I sped up again and it came back.....Thinking I may really have something bad going on, I stopped and got out and checked my truck over? Nothing I could see wrong.    So I called the boss, told him the story...he said,I don't know...just drive er and hung up...several minutes later he calls and says..Jim is it foggy? I said..Ya it is howd ya know that?......He then said..climb up on the truck and clean the ice off your antena, and the noise will go away.....Well did I feel stupid.....Laughed about that one for a long time..F%$@*&!     Ice.

I had a friend who drove semi into the north. He said he got a bad feeling when he showed up in Edmonton to get his rig. It was supposed to be a 2 day trip and they packed him a 2 week lunch...
