I agree...scum! Had to be a set up of some kind...but surprised it was so quickly after the new owner took possession! Makes a good case to have a ignition kill switch and a few other tricks since our old cars are so easy to steal!

Wow.

Just a reminder guys. If you have an old one like that, an ignition kill switch will not be enough. You have to prevent them from powering up the ignition coil, or have some kind of fuel shutoff.

I agree with Carl, you have to rig up something. In high school, a buddy of mine had a 64 Galaxy, and we would always hot-wire (with a couple of little jumper cables under the hood) and "relocate" his car for a gag. He made several (failed) attempts to thwart us, and wound up getting a bar lock that went from the brake pedal to the steering wheel. Those are easy to bypass as well, but we didn't want to damage his car.
