My old 59 Dodge Royal D500 is getting a museum resto!

I got an email from the fellow who is restoring my old 59 Dodge for the buyer in Austria. He has accomplished a lot in the last 3 months! It's going to be a beautiful car when completed. Here's some photos:

The floors were the worse part of the car however it had some old body work that was cut out and replaced:

It looks like the body has been placed on a roller frame while the original frame gets restored:

The chassis and driveline appear just about finished. Although the car ran well, all mechanics were rebuilt:

These cars are very difficult to restore due to the lack of available parts and a pretty much nonexistant aftermarket (which can also be said for our Canadian Pontiacs!). This fellow is doing an amazing job on this car. I only wish I had the equipment, talent and money to to the resto on this car!

You can tell not only by the excellent attention to detail of this restorer but also the fact he's keeping YOU updated on it's progress, that this fellow is one class act!! I can hardly wait to see the finished product! DROOL!

I don't think he is very well known in the Mopar world (he think he likes to remain low key) however he does phenomenal restorations-mostly rare finned Mopars (and usually convertibles). The more I look at his work the more impressed I am. He was a real nice guy to talk to. He's somewhere in BC.

Hey Todd, remember I told you the pink & white 4 door Dodge dissappeared from here, WRONG I see he moved it into back yard & tarped it up along with the 59 Monarch he had with it.!!!!!There both still here in Blackstock
