1963 pontiac acadian beaumont CONVERTIBLE!
8467 model, needs complete restoration . very rough shape! was sitting for 16 years. Bought it complete so everything is there.
started to strip it down but is still rolling! very rare car being a convertible.

That car is worth restoring (especiallybeing a rag top)if all the trim is there. Other than the trim and correct interior everything is available and inexpensive.

Looks a lot like a car I used to have, a 1963 SS Chevy II Nova ragtop. It was too much work back in 1978, sold it for $100.- That Beaumont should be worth a bit if it was restored.

If the car is that ruff the trim is likely junk. The price is reasonable but unless you do 80% of all your restoration that is a money hole. That driver mentioned by somebody else is more expensive but a better start. I have a lot of convertibles but only a select few are restorable in my opinion. I would hate to see you throw your money away.

The real danger in those is the inner rockers since it's a unibody. It's pretty much a parts car is they are shot because the doors sag immediately and it's MAJOR work repairing them.

To me restroing is the incorrect term, that "car" needs to be rebuilt = money pit. no

Kim, nice meeting you last friday at Timmies in Langley.

I'll post a few pics later in another post, I visited a barn that was full early Acadians , 2 being SD convertibles. The owner is very private, people in the valley may know of him.

IF you are looking for one of these , I will put you in touch with him.
