That was Bob McMurdo's car. A real nice fellow, got to know him through the local Impala club when I was an active member. It is a true 1 owner car although for some reason I want to say he bought it when it was a year old. It is a nice survivor.
 I'll never forget his last trip to Spearfish SD for the national convention, 1997, when just outside of Bismark the Throttle linkage came off at the firewall, so there I am on the side of the interstate hooking it all back together for him with cars winging by my butt at 75 mph, good times. It's too bad no one in his family wants to keep it, but hopefully it'll find a new deserving home.
